Still working on arena conditions--obviously
this will be an ongoing dilemma. Thanks to Wendy for putting me in touch
with a couple people regarding possible solutions. Unfortunately, for this
year I'll be limping along. The two possible solutions that seem to have
merit both need to be done in warm weather. Soooooo, I'm going to try putting
down more of the Dust Down product that I purchased last year (using a
different concentration). Please take care when you first start riding
to watch for possible slick or frozen areas--this is somewhat worrisome
because of the freezing temperature.

It seems as though the bedding in the
stalls has made the horses happier during these wet winter months. Thanks
for your patience and keeping me posted on how each of your individual
horses is fairing.
STALL CLEANER REMINDER:
Try to keep bedding toward inside and away from walkway
so It does not go out into the
runs.
ADDITIONAL
NOTE: When feeding, pull bedding back from doorways when
you check waterers.
GREAT BIG
THANK YOU TO ALL FOR BEING CONSCIENTIOUS WITH LIGHTS AND KEEPING DOORS
SHUT!!!
THANK YOU ALSO FOR CLEANING
UP AFTER YOUR HORSES & FARRIERS!!!
Becky Knight will be leaving
the end of February so I'll be looking for someone to fill in some days
for stall cleaning. Let me know if you know someone who might be responsible
and interested.
